The European heritage: treasures and pieces of art

The European cultural and historical tangible heritage is the complex of precious treasures and pieces of art. We know most of them, but still today there are a lot of treasures hidden in private houses, churches and derelict buildings.

A great part of this amount of treasures and pieces of art are open to public such as all the private collections of paintings, statues, ancient glass vases, regal dresses, pieces of jewelry joined by museums curators. Some example are: crown and regal jewels collected in the Tower of London, paintings made by Giotto, Raffaello, Leonardo, Caravaggio at the Uffizi Gallery in Florence,

Europe is considered as the Old World, but it's better to define it as the Ancient Word with great cultural heritage and the bigger part of artists and artisans from the past until today.
We don't have to forget the number of public view treasures such as statues, palaces, gardens, bridges and all the other places created by humans in the past which symbolized the European love and respect for historical buildings and meanings.
